What Audiences Are Saying
Jeff spoke to nearly 200 Rotarians and friends at our Rotary District 5010 Conference in May 2025. He inspired us, brought tears to our eyes, and opened our hearts to the struggles people around us may be carrying without ever saying a word. What stayed with me was his honesty. Jeff shared where he had been, what he had faced, and how he came to be the man he is today. He spoke from the heart, and we felt it. There were tears, but there was also hope — and a powerful reminder that having someone beside you can make all the difference. My recommendation is simple: Get Jeff in front of your people. Your organization will be glad you did.

I had the opportunity to hear Jeff Shilanski speak at our Lions Club, and his presentation was engaging, genuine, and impactful. He communicated his message with passion and connected extremely well with our members, providing valuable insight into the challenges facing veterans and the importance of peer support. I would confidently recommend him as a speaker to any organization looking for an authentic, knowledgeable, and inspiring presenter.

Gunny Sergeant Jeff Shilanski provided to the Rotary Club of Conroe a riveting presentation of the continuing emotional trials of what Veterans are experiencing daily. He portrayed his raw experiences up to the time of almost committing suicide that was thwarted by his therapy dog, "Cup Holder." He then sought help and relayed his challenges in getting the correct type of assistance. In gratitude to that service, he established FOB Rasor in honor of his closest Marine friend who did commit suicide. This peer support group is based on the north side of Conroe, but serves Veterans locally and internationally. His service to Veterans is just starting in providing support that Veterans so need!

FOB Rasor
THE MISSION CONTINUES
FOB Rasor was a forward operating base in Afghanistan's Helmand Province — one of the most dangerous postings of the war. The men and women who served there carried a weight that doesn't come home easy. Jeff's connection to FOB Rasor runs deep, and it shapes everything he brings to the stage: the urgency, the honesty, and the refusal to leave anyone behind.
